China's increased influence in Afghanistan, loaded train left for Afghanistan

China's increased influence in Afghanistan

China's increased influence in Afghanistan. There has been significant development in relations between China and Afghanistan

After the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, China has stepped ahead and is trying to foster relations with Afghanistan. China has been registering its presence in Afghanistan through extensive economic cooperation and development initiatives in war-torn Afghanistan.                                                                                                                         China has just dispatched its train loaded with more than 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid departed from Urumqi West Railway Station in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur which is set to arrive in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, in 12 days.                                                                The goods on the train include naan and milk tea powder as well as such winter supplies as cotton-padded clothes, cotton shoes, and blankets.                                                                The China Railway Department coordinated with customs and freight forwarders to open up green channels to ensure the goods go through the transportation process smoothly, minimizing the clearance time at the customs.                                                                       They have prepared two reach stackers and sufficient personnel to ensure all the loading can be completed within three hours so that the batch of aid to the Afghan people could be shipped and arrive in the shortest time,f China Railway Group Co. announced.                 Since July 2021, the China-Afghanistan freight trains have carried more than 2,600 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.                                                                                                 It is worth mentioning that freight trains between the two countries have never stopped, and the trade of agricultural products between the two countries is also recovering and growing with the passage of time.                                                                                             Afghanistan is still facing severe humanitarian crises and economic difficulties. China announced that it will provide 200 million yuan ($31.32 billion) worth of emergency aid to Afghanistan, and in pursuit of that initiative, the first batch of aid has already arrived in Kabul.   In a way, the task left by Americans for the development and reformation of Afghanistan is now being undertaken by the Chinese, which is likely to be appreciated by the Afghan people and will support the region for peaceful coexistence direly needed for economic uplift and stability.
